About me

I am a writer drawn to stories about people searching for redemption, identity, and connection in worlds in which they’re often overlooked. My projects frequently explore flawed characters living on the fringes of society: working-class dreamers, struggling addicts, artists chasing relevance, and people trying to outrun their past while still holding onto hope for the future. Whether through drama, dark comedy, or horror, I’m interested in telling emotionally honest stories about people who feel real and grounded.

My perspective as a writer stems from an unconventional path. Before pursuing writing professionally, I served in the United States Air Force and later worked across independent film and television productions in a variety of roles. Those experiences taught me the importance of collaboration, discipline, and how stories move from the page to the screen. I grew up around instability, financial hardship, and addiction, which gave me an early understanding of how complicated people’s lives are beneath the surface. Those experiences continue to shape the emotional core of my work.

As a writer, my goal is to create stories, films, and television that entertain while still exploring the truths about family, ambition, and the universal need to belong. I’m especially interested in stories that balance heartbreak and humor, because these things rarely exist without the other. Moving forward, my goal is to continue developing character-driven projects that connect with audiences on a deeply human level, while building a long-term career in film and television writing, and producing and directing my own projects.
